NeighborhoodTreasure is an automated, public index of the websites currently surfacing across the open web — discovered from public sources like Tranco, Hacker News, GitHub, and open RSS feeds, then ranked by sustained traffic. There are no accounts and no editorial filter, and organic ranking is independent — not for sale. Any sponsored or featured placements we offer are clearly labeled.

Can I pay to be listed or rank higher?

You can't pay to influence organic ranking — Hot, New, Rising, and Overall scores come entirely from public-signal formulas, with no editorial override and no way to buy a higher score. We do sell a single clearly-labeled Sponsored slot in the home page hero billboard; every paid placement carries a visible 'Sponsored' badge and does not change any organic score. How is the ranking calculated?

Each site receives four scores: Hot (current public signal velocity), New (recency of first detection), Rising (acceleration relative to the site's own baseline), and Overall (a long-term blend dominated by Tranco global popularity). The home feed mixes them; /hot, /new, and /rising surface each one individually.

Where does the data come from?

Entirely public sources: the Tranco peer-reviewed top-list, Hacker News, GitHub trending, public RSS feeds, Common Crawl, and open directories. No private analytics and no purchased rankings.

How often is the index updated?

Continuously. New domains are ingested every few minutes from real-time signal sources; rankings recompute on a 30-minute cadence; the full index re-scores nightly.

How do I get my site listed or removed?

There is no submission form — listing is fully automated based on whether a site appears in our public signal sources. Removal requests from the verified domain owner are honored within a few business days via the removal page.
